Confluence Notifications
It is possible to enhance In-app Customer Portal Notifications to receive notifications from Confluence on page updates, where the user is added as a watcher.
Installation Guide
In-App Customer Portal Notifications for Confluence can be installed from the Atlassian Marketplace.
Navigate to the “Find new Apps” page.
Search for In-App Customer Portal Notifications for Confluence and click on the “Try it Free” button.
To Start the configuration go to the “Apps” dropdown on the top ribbon and select In-App Customer Portal Notifications for Confluence.
To uninstall the In-App Customer Portal Notifications for Confluence go to the “Manage Apps” page find the In-App Customer Portal Notifications for Confluence expand it and click on the “Uninstall” button.
User Guide
To use this plugin, In-App Customer Portal Notifications plugin should be initially installed in Jira.
After installation, without any further configuration, if a user is added as a watcher in a certain Confluence page or tagged in a comment, a notification will be sent to the user on:
Page update;
Added comment;
Edited comment.
The notification will be received in the Customer Portal notifications bar (please refer to User Guide for more details):
For the messages received on the Confluence page (update, added comment, and edited comment), the following information is visible for the customer:
Name of the user who made an update
Name of the Confluence page
Time and date of the update
Space icon and key
Pricing/Licensing
