Confluence logs

By installing the User Activity Audit Log for Confluence on the cloud instance, It is possible to enhance the User Activity Audit Log to log the actions from Confluence.

Installation Guide

User Activity Audit Log for Confluence can be installed from the Atlassian Marketplace.

  1. Navigate to the “Find new Apps” page.

  2. Search for the User Activity Audit Log for Confluence” and click on the “Try it Free” button.

  3. To Start the configuration go to the “Apps” dropdown on the top ribbon and select User Activity Audit Log for Confluence.

  4. To uninstall the User Activity Audit Log for Confluence go to the “Manage Apps” page find the User Activity Audit Log for Confluence” expand it and click on the “Uninstall” button.

You can see the status of your license in the top menu of the User Activity Audit Log for Jira app:

The license status update is triggered by generating any loggable action in confluence. For example, if your license expires and later you renew it, the status will not be automatically updated, you’ll need to trigger it by action in Confluence (e.g. comment on a page).

User Guide

To use this extension app, User Activity Audit Log for Jira should be initially installed in Jira on the same Cloud instance.

After installation, without any further configuration, the Confluence actions will appear in the actions list above the Aggregated and Detail Views:

If the app is not enabled, the Confluence actions will be disabled:

* These actions are retrieved every 30 minutes. Therefore the action can appear in the log maximum after 30 minutes.
