To open Jira attachments in new tab, the Attachments in New Tab Secure Attachment Transfer plugin does not need any configuration. Immediately after installation, in Jira Service Management issue details, a new link “Attachments in New Tab“ will appear in the right ribbonissue details:

After uploading the files, you will need to refresh the browser tab to see the attachments in the list. Only Adobe Acobat Acrobat files and the images will be opened in a new tab by default. Other file formats will be opened in a new tab if corresponding online viewers are used by the users (e.g. Microsoft Office365 or Google Docs for Office files). |
